I found the incidents page and did not see anything reported there. https://status.home-assistant.io/history

Ok, I verified that Android also didn't get the notification. The automation trace did show that notifications were sent. This has worked in the past, just missed it last night.

I ran the notification action of the automation now and I get the push notifications after rebooting the HA box. I didn't try that before rebooting.
