#why not the aqara? thats the round ones

So, the FP2s are ok. But, for the price, and the Homekit requirement, they kinda suck. They tend to ghost a lot (so people detected where no one is (probably ghosts)) and their "AI" crap is sucky.
Compared with the Apollo sensors (which are a fraction of the price), they truly suck. The Apollo MTR-1 does the same thing with MUCH more accuracy.
AND no cloud requirement either. You can't block the FP2 from the internet because it goes nuts without the AI crap.
so the other ones are recommendable?
The Apollo sensors are highly recommended. Plus, they are all EspHome based, so they integrate with HA seamlessly.
i will at least have a further look at them... as said, not a fan of the mmwave per se, but curious still 😄
