The #installation-archived channel can best help there - your Supervisor logs will matter though
i don't think i would have supervisor logs. i run HA through Docker
besides the timeout error i see the following messages:
2024-06-05 01:49:10.992 WARNING (MainThread) [bellows.ezsp] Failed to parse frame, ignoring
2024-06-05 01:49:16.984 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.websocket_api.http.connection] [140091606749120] Error handling message: Timeout (timeout) Enoch from 127.0.0.1 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/125.0.0.0 Safari/537.36)```
What are you using for backups then?
There's no point using HA's native backups, you're better off with rclone, rsnapshot, urbackup etc
for the record, i was on the right track. there was a bug causing zha to prevent backups from starting and the latest version ships with a fix.
also why wouldn't i want to use native backups? if i move to a different installation type like HAOS it'd be a drop in restore
Because only HAOS supports restores
So you may as well back it up the same way you back up everything else
Should you plan on migrating use the UI backup then
i have definetely successfully restored from an ha backup on my docker setup
