You should be able to connect with the URL even at home, but it will be a remote connection. Or you can connect directly without SSL.

okey yeah that was basically the question. as letsencrypt issues certs based on hostname and that hostname is bound to cloud, id have to temporarily redirect it to generate a new cert then
