I'm working on this one:

I'm having trouble reproducing in the emulated device; I can't get Home assistant to display notifications. Any ideas?

as of now we have no idea what the issue is but that issue in itself does not have a valid image provided so we dont know whats going on there

as far as testing notifications, assuming you followed the readme including the firebase server stuff it should work otherwise enable persistent connection to test notifications

any issue with the "question" label means we are waitng for more info to proceed 🙂

I'm coming up empty for notifications; would the logs be in the companion app? I'm seeing errors in companion app in the android emulator, but am having trouble figuring out why.

The errors increment each time I try sending a notification.

Not for this ticket/issue, but it would be nice to have that working in my dev environment.

If you have the emulator running, checking logcat in Android Studio is probably faster 🙂

It'll contain the same log as the app, but nicer because it runs at a system level (filter for package:mine)
