That's odd there are 4 entries there. But, when you go to HA, what do you see? Where is it asking you (or showing you) a 4 digit code?

After I put in my password it asks me for my google authentication. The 4 codes start their timeout. I have tried all of them and none of them work. Google authenticator says it stores 'all' the codes but I have not been able to locate them. Maybe to try the original code that was set up. Would I have restart from the beginning (setting up home assistant from the beginning) to get in or is it a back door to get into home assistant and change 2 step authentication. That would not be that big of a deal because I have not set up a lot of automations. I do have a nabu casa account though, not sure how that would work with starting over.

Ok, I think I see what happened here... so, HA added the MFA 4 times to google authenticator and now none of them are providing the correct code to log in. You might be able to try the steps here: https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/locked_out/, but I don't think any of those deal with how to remove MFA. For that, there is an older forum post https://community.home-assistant.io/t/turning-off-two-factor-authentication/148854/11 that outlines how to remove MFA. But, here be dragons as it requires going into the .storage folder and that's not something I would ever recommend lightly.

If you don't have a lot in HA, then yeah, maybe restarting from scratch might be a better approach.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate you. The issue with nabu casa, I assume I would have to just go in and update the account info? My account will be linked to the out account.

Yeah, once you setup HA again, you just use the same Nabu Casa credentials. Everything should transfer over from there (external url, Alexa/Google Home settings, etc).
