And your phone has an ip that starts 192.168.178 (just to rule out weird surprise wifi vs Ethernet split) and your HA is wired?

And you have the OTBR addon (not the multi protocol addon) and is there anything worrisome in its logs?

This is the current log ... I read somewhere that the "netif" errors are not to worry? Also looks like it did try to commission but failed ...

Not an expert on OTBR errors so who knows
But the most common reason for that sort of failure would be if you were in Bluetooth range but not thread or vice versa
So to confirm - phone and otbr and device you are setting up are all on same room and very close?

1 room away from the OTBR, will do a try standing right next to it, just need to take the smart-Handle off the door 😉
