We release the beta the last wednesday of the month, the week after is the first release. After that there is usually a hotfix release before the weekend.

And those hotfix releases are filled by PRs that are marked in a milestone, and members can add those PRs to milestones
And in the beta week, no hotfix release is planned

I would also love to have some conversations (not today, and definitely not urgent), with whoever is the release czar and/or the primary architect of the release workflow. I have some experience in that area, and might be able to help in conversation around evolving that architecture.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have any proposals until I’ve had conversations with whoever created what currently exists. There are generally reasons for a lot of what exists and making changes requires understanding those reasons. My instinct is to search the code for release tooling, and then find who wrote that and reach out to them, so I guess unless you tell me otherwise that’s probably the approach I’ll take.
