i think i created a thread network. and was also able to re-configure my zha network.

but for some reason my Bluetooth device is no failing to load. i'm on raspberry pi 4b. is it possible that now with the skyconnect dongle set to multi-protocol, it somehow interferes with the bluetooth device of the pi?

Internal bluetooth on pi goes wrong a lot

It’s the #1 most common problem on #bluetooth-archived regardless of SkyConnect

When it crashes (the chip itself) the only way for HA to work again is a full shutdown, unplug, wait 30s and then try again

If it coincided so obviously with SkyConnect then I’d be inclined to think you need more power for your pi
