Is it a good practice in general to decouple the automations?
To make the switch only control the value of the input, while the input change itself is the trigger of the update to the lights brightness?

Im still not sure how to use the trigger entity new value as the value for the light.turn_on service call brightness. I'm using the UI and it lets me input static percentage only.
