#Matter over WiFi triage

Depends on what system your computers are? You'll need something like a laptop/desktop and it depends on what OS they run
For the wifi strip, you should be able to just use the ping command (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/ping) to check how long it takes
You'll need to find the wifi strip ip
Checking the connectivity to the thread device is a bit involved so I'd just start with triaging the strip itself
it says sent 4 received 4 lost 0
But the 4 pings also always give the response target host not available
Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 4, Verloren = 0
(0% Verlust),
ip is the ip of the light strip
here is translated
Answer from ip: Target host not reachable.
Answer from ip: Target host not reachable.
Answer from ip: Target host not reachable.
Answer from ip: Target host not reachable.
Ping statistics for ip:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0
(0% loss),```
Response from ip : Bytes=32 Time=25ms TTL=255
Response from ip : Bytes=32 Time=2ms TTL=255
Response from ip : Bytes=32 Time=2ms TTL=255
Response from ip : Bytes=32 Time=2ms TTL=255
Ping statistics for ip :
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0
(0% loss),
Approximate times in milliseconds:
Minimum = 2ms, Maximum = 25ms, Average = 7ms```
I just added it to the home app and now i get this
That seems right and yet it is still not good in HA to control?
Now i removed it again from home app and now it shows up
in ha
It works
Thanks!!!!!
@mint knot Should i just get a diferent controlor for the nanoleaf leds?
You could try adding it to another controller (Google home, apple home) to see if that fixes things
Or acts different
It just fixed itself
