Okay so this is interesting

I have an issue for Spotify where for some users (n=2 afaict) the event loop is completely getting blocked when doing a certain request

Spotipy uses requests

I could also reproduce this on my own machine with his application credentials

I still haven't found out why this happens, but when I shutdown the application afterwards, it will also tell me about non deamonic threads
