Personally I'd recommend you use MQTT as the bridge between your scripts and HA, that's going to be the simplest solution

I have done a little bit of MQTT in high school, I can remember I needed a broker back than that is very limited for free use. Is this still at that? (Used MQTT for node-red at that time)

You can use Mosquitto broker (available from the Home Assistant add-on store)
