I realize I'm in the homeassistant discord.. I have it setup but I'm pretty inexperienced with it, so if there's a better HA solution I'm all ears 👂

The reolink flood is kinda trash for multiple reasons

#

It has a very buggy rtsp stream and it doesn’t use line voltage power and instead requires a wall wart

#

I’ll have to see if my Amcrest flood actually supports events via ONVIF

#

But you get way higher quality events if you use something like frigate with any camera

I'm fairly happy with the events from my BlueIris + CodeProject AI setup so I'd like to use that as the trigger.

The only downside is running the Windows VM, but oh well.

I run the CodeProject AI detection in docker at least.

My Amcrest flood reports onvif feeds when I just tested it

It’s a line voltage 1080p WiFi camera with 2-way audio

#

Biggest quirk is no web interface, have to use desktop software to change some settings
