In ha login I'm not seeing /config but do see /mnt/config which is empty.

I've been running HA in docker for a few years and this is my first time attempting to run HAOS.

Any ideas?

ha banner shows OS 11.1 and 2023.11.1 for versions.

Check the contents of the /mnt/data/supervisor/homeassistant/.HA_VERSION file

Looking at the code, this file exists on your system but is blank.
Try removing it.

There are no files in the /mnt/data/supervisor/homeassistant/ directory.

Hmmm... really sounds like you have a readonly FS then

I tried creating a file in /mnt/config and it said I couldn't.

I'm going to try writing the img to the drive again and see if it behaves differently this time.
