#Hi All, I'm running HA in a VirtualBox

You can reset the network, but it won't change anything in configuration.yaml
https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/blob/dev/Documentation/network.md
What remote access were you setting up?
Just so I can access HA outside of my local network
Yes, but how/what were you using to implement that?
duckdns? your own domain?
Did you change anything in configuration.yaml?
Oh I set up a duck dns, and then copied that into the relevant box within HA
I didn't and generally don't touch the yaml directly
I mean, i don't KNOW this is the problem, but kinda fishy how its been running for months no probelm and then I touch this and I can no longer get into it
he info
One part of setting up duckdns if using the add-on, is to then add the http: config to configuration.yaml, and that isn't done through the UI
oh right didn't do this
If you didn't do that, then normally HA would be as accessible as usual.
what does ha core logs show in the console?
looking now
lots of red
but it does seem like HA is running
as in I can see HA trying to get to sensors etc and streams that weren't working in my set up
what does ha network info show
