#2 skyconnect setup

So it does look like I have both ZHA configured for the Zigbee and the second for thread.
now with that being said is there any configuration needed for matter to use the thread skyconnect?
The otbr integration should configure your otbr and push the connection details into the thread integration
Then when you use the app on your google phone it should sync the connection details from there into the google ecosystem
And then that will commission your device into the SkyConnect mesh
But will only work on Android and only if you don’t already have nest
You can verify the OTBR is configured correctly by pressing configure on the thread integration
You may see two different networks depending on if you have any other border routers
I do have two different networks currently,
It shows my preferred network then it shows the myhome network (that is my series of homepods and apple TVs)
Not sure how to go about combining them. 🤷♂️
but i think I am all configured otherise
Ah do you have an iphone?
yes*
Do you have android as well?
not currently
gotcha
And right now you are better off using those honepods anyway
Assuming they have iOS 17
yeah they do
They have something called trel that lets them mesh over thread AND wifi AND Ethernet. So you get more range and more bandwidth
ah!
That’s not enabled with otbr yet
Hello,
Could you assist me with an issue I'm facing? I'm using SkyConnect and have updated the firmware to support OpenThread. I'm looking to integrate the Eve Energy smart plug, which is built on Thread and features the Matter logo, into my Home Assistant (HA) setup.
Additionally, I've successfully installed and started the OpenThread Border Router add-on. However, when I attempt to add the Matter device, I can scan the QR code from the Eve plug without any problems. Yet, after some time, I receive a message indicating that the device wasn't found.
also i have only SkyConnect as "TBR" and I am using Android phone
