You can get the node ID from the logs too. Home Assistant seem to be the only one that dont use random numbers. So fx for a device with the node ID 2 is easy to spot.

I think your method is probably the more reliable one to find the IP address HA is using. But im not sure if running python code could scare some people away 😄

well I mentioned in another comment, that the diags had OLD IPs when the ATVs devided to literally re-IP the entire thread space
