It's because of the trapezoidal method

The triangle is fit between the two states, irregardless of how far apart they are.

Then the high at 10:59am and the low at 11:22am.

Yeah. So it fit a triangle between 0 at 4:03 and then the peak at 10:59, that's what causes the high value

I have not tried this myself but you may have more luck with the 'left' Riemann sum method

Frustrating the UI doesn't let you edit anything about the Riemann except number of digits.

Have to delete and create new.

I just read up on left and right Riemann and I doubt it will help but I'll try anyway.
