Ok maybe the setup does not look good, as i have ttyS0 till ttyS4 and usb1 and usb2 but no ttyUSB

it could be a hardware problem but that's quite rare in my experience

it depends on the driver, sometimes the driver implemements ACM and then it shows up as ttyACM...

Really think my USB ports died, when i hook up my phone to it, it doesnt charge which indicates to me no power is supplied to the ports

I recommend hooking up something dumb like a USB stick, then see if it pops up in the hardware list

Following up on this, i bought a micro usb -> usb A hub, plugged that into the Odroid anddddd it worked! Basically confirming the USB ports are dead, but now i have the p1 serial cable going through the micro-usb port 😅 Thanks for the help @spark plaza

I have 4 USB-A ports, which all seem to be dead. But on the other side of the board is a single micro-USB port

I hooked up a micro-USB to USB-A hub in there, allowing me to plugin the p1 serial
