Are you running Doods in Docker, or another way?

i'm running it on a separate docker

Then you remembered to map the HA config folder to the Doods container?

flat plover
#

actually, just noticed that I did get the file out to work when I set it to /media .... I smb'd in and saw the /media folder populated

#

just wondering why it didnt always work when it was initially set to /config/www

Then you remembered to map the HA config folder to the Doods container?

flat plover
#

uhh other than just putting the stuff in configuration.yaml i didnt really have to do anything else

#

are you still running it?

lone moss
#

No

flat plover
#

you moved on to something else? machinebox maybe?

lone moss
#

But with Docker you have to map folders to containers - if you don't they don't have access

#

Frigate

flat plover
#

may I ask why? didnt find what you need with doods?

lone moss
#

Because Frigate is far more capable than lashing together MotionEye and Doods

#

M+D worked, sure, but it was a lash up and needed HA in the loop all the time

#

Frigate just works

I see. on my end I'm just looking for a solution to do motion detection as my crappy tuya camera doesn't send feedback to HA if motion or a person is detected

lone moss
#

Well, Doods is for object detection

#

I'd recommend looking into Frigate
