Looks like the controller has a bit of trouble transmitting. Not sure how the log looks prior to that, but I assume something is spamming.

other than that, nothing else is really going on. the rest of the network is generally pretty quiet. i did have a bunch of 300 series nodes that i've taken all off the network except for one, but communication with the door lock hasn't really improved all that much

#

i cut that interval back from 30 sec to 15 mins to see if that helps. right now all i'm seeing is this in the logs every 30 seconds or so

09:56:51.255 SERIAL » 0x0103003bc7 (5 bytes)

cutting that interval back hasn't helped. at all. still having communications issues with the lock

#

just tried again to add a user code via keymaster. this is what the log looks like for this attempt (which failed):

https://pastebin.com/h1rCK58z

it added the code to the slot but never enabled it.

#

it doesn't appear to be a keymaster issue, i tried adding the code via the zwavejs2mqtt ui and the same thing happens. basically i'm trying to figure out if i need to spend $100 on a new zwave chip for the lock, but i don't want to waste my money if that's not going to help

seems to be trying really hard to reach the device and fail.

#

background RSSI of -70 also seems a tad high

# versed wraith Not sure what troubleshooitng you have done so far, but here's a start: https://...

i've tried everything i can think of, including moving the controller to a raspberry pi downstairs right next to the front door. that helped greatly with the lock, but the rest of my network is just awful i'd say 80% of the time. it doesn't make any sense to me either, because some of the switches that keep timing out / having issues are less than 15 feet from the stick now that i moved it downstairs...and it is still just completely unreliable.

#

i did buy an 800 series zooz stick when they were on sale last week just in case, but i'd rather not go through the trouble of moving all of my nodes over if that's not even going to help

#

i just can't figure out what the issue is with it at this point though. i've got 14 nodes and they're all pretty well spaced out, and i'm adding several more over the next few days to try to improve the mesh. but i just don't have much faith at this point that it's going to help anything

#

this has been an ongoing issue for literally years and i feel like i'm getting nowhere
