Sounds like a great idea! Perhaps start with a new integration or build on the energy that already is present?
Then add an attribute for priority to the devices that shows up in there. From there creating automations.

This is really a great idea!

Yes, I mean the energy dash board. It sounds like it would be a natural evolution of that dashboard.

Regarding the attribute I suppose it needs to be kept within the integration/energy dashboard itself. I am not familiar with the code base, but it sounds like a tagging selected entities in a separate (part of the) database could do the job
