Well, HAOS or Container is personal preference... without knowing why you think you want to change nobody can say more than that 😉
I'm guessing, I start with add intergrations and blueprints?
Both of which are features of HA itself, not the install method
ok, I pulled my rpi4 sdcard and plugged a 500 gb sdd and just finished the rpi debian install. I belive in the Kiss system, easy to create, easy to maintain, easy to backup, and easy to restore. I'm all ears.
Debian+Docker is the way
HA Container? So far I think the documentation is sparse and requires lots research to install and configure.
Yes
The documentation for installing other software isn't on HA to solve, which is why it's sparse if you're looking in the HA docs
I worked for a major computer company for 10 years and wrote 100's of technical how to's for their support site... so you might know where i've been and where I'm coming from
I just trying to build a house, I've done most of it by myself. It sucked with some wood products when up 200%, contractors with too much work can see ya in 6 months, covid , product shortage... HA is just part of the build.
So.... what are you looking for when you say
So far I think the documentation is sparse and requires lots research to install and configure
I wrote articles based on goals and how to get from start to finsh precisely, failure cost money and profits. https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/ With four installation products, do all the products have the same features and terminalogy, ie click setting , addons or is it a different name or way in the other three installation products.
Ok... and the point?
failure costs money and time (company) poor documentation costs customers.

Feel free to help re-write HA's docs
Also, I think part of your question (I think it was a question) is answered at the bottom of that page
I have a house to build. see my avatar, that what i'm building, In some line of work, if you have to ask a question, you generally already know the answer.
Well debian is just about done darn error during boot, got to look this one up, failed to start configure bluetooth modems connect by uart.
