I finally resolved this - was not the Yellow at fault. I'd added a device_tracker: bluetooth_le_tracker a while back and forgotten about it. Over time it kindly added 57412 new devices! Probably due to devices with MAC address randomisation. All those devices ground HA to a slow mess. With them deleted it is massively quicker. Pretty useless integration now by the looks of it!!!
