ah finally, couldn't figure out how to send the logs, but i guess a thread works 🙂

this logs tells us that the device could not be reached
btw: the reset method needs to be repeated sometimes
and sometimes you need to hold it for more than 10 seconds, you should hear the relay click
its a bit of trial and error to get the thing reset and back in pairing mode

i do hear it click when i release the button. but i'll try resetting a few more times!
i also found that it was previously listed as connected to my phone under the matter screen (android). so i removed the old entries thinking it might be fussy about that
after i reset it i do i actually see it as an available device when scanning for bluetooth
btw, when you say "the device could not be reached" am i correct in thinking that's just the bluetooth phase, before the thread setup?

No, but the 3.2 firmware is the release firmware that will be released to the public, so it may include fix’s
@solid parcel try resetting the device, and then unplugging it from the wall, re-plug it in and try connecting it to HA
That’s what I had to do to my eve energy (Australian version) to get it to successfully connect and stay connected

ha well i literally just bought these the other day, they shipped with 3.1 🙂 that's what i get for jumping the gun! i'll keep trying, but i've tried multiple versions of all these dances so far, gotta be some special incantation i'm missing
