why are you using hue over matter? there is exactly no point of doing that as the native hue api is miles ahead of matter, really.

you will have to delete each device from HA now, starting with the bridge. after that you can share the bridge again from apple

thank you. I tried that again yesterday just after that last ah posting and it worked. previously the devices would not delete at all. And my aqara, eve, tapo and esspressif devices working again.

as for why, a good reason is to test and proof it.

So many 'tubers bitch and moan about Matter. But aside from this hiccup my home works so much better this way.

I have all sorts of latency and performance issues using straight HA with a nortek stick. I bought a hubitat in november, but that has even more issues. When I had all my lights and plugs (hue, ikea, sengled, cree, sonoff and seedan) on my hue bridge and used matter, everything even home assitant was better.
