Just tried two different PoE+ switches (just in case) and cables - no success there either 😫

Hooking up USB Serial (no output at all)
being a potential rma case, i'd wait for the nabucasa ppl, but if the bootloader is an older version setting BOOT_UART=1 in bootconf.txt and updating the bootloader might at least shed some light on whats happening in the 1st stage bootloader.

@hushed geode Mine doesn't have a jumper, it has a momentary switch instead which will be open by default

If JP2 isn't a jumper anymore, it has to be a new PCB revision 🤔

Yes, the jp2 jumper was replaced by a button

Might the JP2 button be stuck in closed position?

It needs to be pressed to enter the USB rcvry mode, which was successful? By default if it was powered off and then on after flashing the emmc it would then not be active

#

@brave fern did you try the serial console connection after flashing?

brave fern

@latent crow yep, didn't work (no output). I just tried to reflash just now with BOOT_UART=1 but now it seems like the CM4's eMMC has died completely, so I suspect the CM4 is at fault, not the Yellow:

Is the CM4 correctly seated in its sockets?

Yep
