You can use any kind of a controller that supports the features you want as led strips are very simple devices and just require the appropriate number of pins on your controller.
For a high CRI light strip, there are good options on AliExpress that are very cheap and also high quality.
Branded LED strips (also smart home brands) LED strips are likely to be high quality, for example xiaomi, goove or philips hue.
If you have a soldering iron, it makes the matters even easier as that's actually not complicated to solder a LED strip and a controller together, even seemingly incompatible ones.
