#Energy Dashboard, but for thermostat data

So here's what I want to do: the same, but with thermostat data. I am collecting valve openings (dimension-less % values) as a dimension-less average across all thermostats to generate an overall house valve setting.
If I interpret that as an energy consumption (again, without dimension), I can't do anything with it because I don't know what it means (how much energy or $ or €).
However, I would love to at least be able to compare it with previous periods as with the energy dashboard.
Am I getting the point across?
