I was trying to use cloudflare tunnel to Home Assistant to make use of this feature but I get a bed request opening cloudflare url

How are you running the tunnel? With the add-on? Docker container? Something else?

I am not sure where should I put trusted_proxies

That's a file in the HA config folder, wherever you mapped that from

Okay. Those files were form "homepage" app not from homeassistant...
