I'm saying that once upon a time there was a UI before the current one
That UI used the group order for laying out "cards" in the UI (only they weren't cards, they were groups)
That setting has never made any difference to the behaviour of controlling the group

There's no "problem." I have 12 Somfy shades integrated via my Bond Bridge (RF transmitter) and grouped in various ways. When I lower/raise a group, I'd prefer them to move in a predictable way. It seems that if the group functionality already sends service calls in a certain order (e.g. alphabetical, ?), that the frontend could be updated to allow for user configuration of that order. I know I can do this in other ways, but (1) that only helps me and (2) then I'd have to bother with workarounds to properly program the frontend instead of just using stock/mushroom cover cards.
