What firmware did you install?

I'm not aware of any new bugs with that version

#

Though it's not unexpected for the CC2531 to just break every once in a while and require an unplug

It was "unflashed" before. I used it with the version that came from aliexpress and it worked fine (for months without replug)

Honestly, the CC2531 is junk. Fine for testing with a handful of devices, but if you're getting close to double digits it's past time to upgrade.

I am planning on getting zigbee thermostats for all radiators, then maybe i will upgrade

#

But right now i am on 8 devices, an I thought it might work fine like this

They're not the most stable of coordinators

I now updated from 1.28.0 to 1.28.2 and replugged the coordinator. For now it works, but it would be really nice if it could go back to the "always stable for months" behavior if it could...

#

Does z2m has any debug log which shows, why the CC2531 has crashed?

Remove the last devices you added to the mesh, or upgrade the coordinator

#

Sadly it has no way of knowing why it crashed

#

I used to see mine crash every day or two, sometimes it'd crash multiple times an hour

#

Moved to a CC2652 and it's never crashed

slow knot
#

is CC2652 the recommended or is there any better one? @clear forum

For Zigbee2MQTT it's the best choice

Take your pick as to vendor
