Most installers seem to suggest these days that it's a bad idea to turn the heating off at night or during the day when you are not home. It's great to have the data to proof it! BTW how do you measure these things? I can't imagine you have your heat pump is plugged into some cheap wifi plug
ya, it does seem better to just keep it going rather than let it cool and have to reheat from a lower temp.
I use Emporia power monitor. It has clamps that go around the wires in the electrical panel to measure current.
It has 16 clamps so I have data on almost every circuit in my panel.
I had no idea they made them with so many clamps. I have something similar, but only 3 circuits to measure (the idea of those is to measure solar, battery and usage)
