GPS locations can be horribly inaccurate and I've seen Android report locations that are very wrong in the past when it's doing "assisted" positioning (eg using the presence of WiFi networks or cell towers to find the location).

Picking a sensibly low minimum accuracy (eg 200 meters, 100 meters) can help a lot with that, as can not using GPS trackers for home/away
