sounds like you didn't actually update the add-on then. and you should have a Repair flagging that in the setting notifications

Then you can uninstall the core zwave-js add-on (backup first if you want), and then upgrade the zwave-js ui add-on.

that's the web UI. kind of irrelevant. just upgrade the add-on, after uninstalling the core one.

If you use the Z-Wave JS UI addon, you need to have at least version 1.1.0.

I have a template that alerts me to "unavailable" devices
Lately I keep seeing one or two devices report that their "update" entity is unavailable.
It's not always the same device.

Any thoughts on this?

They seem to come and go. It persists for "a while" and then, maybe after HA restarts, they go away, and then later I see it for another device
