#The answer to that was in the link I

I am working with that right now, I pastet it in the templates und developertools. But Its reacting directly from true to false if only one sensor closes. And that is not what I want. Do you know what I mean?
😁 👍 Already reading. Thanks
May a ask a question about this? Its working, I mean that Binary group with 5 entities (binary_sensors) And I did just what you have send me. But one weird thing happends, Its only working one way, How do i solve that? I mean: if the hole group is Off, and I open one sensor, its staying off, also with second ,3 4, and by the 5 the hole binary group of sensors is coming on. So thats working just fine. But, I I then open one sensor, immediatly comes the hole binary_group on. Why is that? Am I misundertsnding something? (I am looking in de dev tools. Not at my automation at the moment. Sorry for the questions.
Well, you need to check the state of the group entity you created
If you configured it according to the link I posted then by default it will be on when any member of the group is on
Its working Tinkerer, But not the other way arround. I could try it to make the hole group in Yaml, but this is what I did for now, it was off and switch it to on. Like the documentation says.
I've no idea what you mean
Can a paste a screenshot here?

But, the default for a group is that it is on if any member is on
So, unless you changed that default, it'll turn on once at least one member is on, and only turn off when they're all off
Oke I try to explain what I mean, If you stay in the GUI, and go to helpers, then a group of sensoirs and then group options, at the bottom is a slider switch. I put the to on, description is saying that what you mean by the above. And.... Its working but only by openeing not be closing. So the binary group comes to on if All the sensors are open, but by closing one sensor the hole group comes to off. And that is what I dont understand
Because you changed the default
Don't change the default
Binary sensor, light, and switch groups allow you set the “All entities” option. When enabled, the group behavior is inverted, and all members of the group have to be on for the group to turn on as well.
You've done that, and broken the default behaviour... well done
If I dont change it, then it is like it was, not working 🙂 If I change that slider its working, But just one way.
Well, then you've royally fucked something up
Start with a fresh group, don't change the defaults
Until you fix things then nothing else you do is going to work
In the GUI ist standing, If 'All entities"is enabled, the group state is on, only if all members are on. If its disabled, the group state for any member is one. So... I switched it to on.
Great, so you set it so that you'd have to open every damn window for it to turn on
I'm done... good luck
Really? And this is a channel for help? And if anybody is learning and not understanding directly, is this your respond? Why? Who do you think you are!
