  1. Has anyone faced a similar issue where there are unexpected messages being delivered to NodeRed about propetties changing from 'something' to 'null' ?

  1. Is there any way to prevent HA from messing up attributes on the messages and ensure things like user_id: for 'whom activated the switch (for example) to be always present and not 'random'?
