Hey folks! Quick question. Is it possible to use my home assistant installation on the raspberry pi as a bluetooth speaker, i e to stream audio from my phone to the raspberry? I've tried googling it, but only been able to find info on using bluetooth speakers with hassio, not on using hassio as a bluetooth speaker.

I am looking for a robotic mower that is (some kind of) compatible with Home Assistant. Any suggestions? Right now I am tending to buy a Worx Landroid which is reasonably priced and becomes better and better supported in Home Assistant every day.

Didn't know xiaomi made barn friendly roborocks 🙄

fiery sorrel
#

speeking of vacuum, i was told that drywall where really bad for vacuum filter ? did any of you had issue ?
i've always used my handheld vacuum after driling a hole in it

tidal bronze
#

Depends on the filter. Usually a shop vacuum for drywall.

fiery sorrel
#

don't have those ... plus bringin it in the stare will be complicated...

#

so if it's a big issue i'll invest, but else ...

tidal bronze
#

Lol I run the dyson if I do anything upstairs can't haul the shopvac 😆

fiery sorrel
#

also a handheld dyson

tidal bronze
#

Works fine on this end. But I do have a spare brush set i use for drywall stuff.

dusky plank
#

I also need one of those

fiery sorrel
#

weirdly i got the best price from there official shop, it if it may help you :)

dusky plank
#

gibe me the codez! pls

fiery sorrel
#

but it's an apple vacuum, or a ubiquity vacuum ... you don't need this one. Cheaper one from other brand do the job as well

tidal bronze
#

I think dyson site already has the discount applied.

dusky plank
#

will have a look @ the apple vacuum store

fiery sorrel
#

yea and you may get more addon with it on there shop, look for a pack that you will use.

tidal bronze
#

You gotta watch on the free add on pack, they sometimes ship older gen packs with new vacs

fiery sorrel
#

yea true

dusky plank
#

no discount in my countrys shop :/

#

what models do yyou have?

fiery sorrel
#

well in my country the v10 is 500€ in shop, 400€ at dyson

#

io have the v8 i think 🤔 i don' really care

tidal bronze
#

V10 and V11 animal

fiery sorrel
#

you can vacuum your cat/dog ? :P

dusky plank
fiery sorrel
dusky plank
#

that is not cheap, I will wait 😛

tidal bronze
#

Checkout Costco. They always run deals on these.

dusky plank
#

I'm in €uroland

fiery sorrel
#

it's an apple vacuum ... not cheap, and maybe slightly better than other brand.
You may not want a dyson if you look for sub 300

#

i'm serious, Dyson have a huge markup for there name, the motor they market as "in house" is just a philipe digital motor that you can found in many other brand

#

and most of the other also use cyclonique vacuum type now

clever mortar
#

V10/V11 are about as good as you can get in the cordless ones anyway, so they won't be cheap

#

Depends on your budget though...

fiery sorrel
#

true, but you can get a bit less power (and a bit more weigh) for way less money

clever mortar
#

Yeah, you can still get really good ones for £300/€300

#

Bosch Athlet Ultimate BCH732KTGB rates highly apparently

fiery sorrel
#

agreed, v8 and v9 would surely be around this, but under 300 ? Will be hard

clever mortar
#

Yeah, the lower you go the worse they get

fiery sorrel
#

with my 2 robot, i only use the handheld one for 1 off, or to clean the couch and stuff... not sur it was worth buying a dyson

clever mortar
#

We have a very old Dyson, not cordless, but it copes really well with the dog's fur

fiery sorrel
#

the big yellow one ?

clever mortar
#

Not yellow, but yeah, that generation - it's about 10 years old

#

Maybe a little older actually

#

Still works well, it a "little" battered and worn 😄

fiery sorrel
#

my dad had one, first bagless vacuum i got to see, was awesome

clever mortar
#

We'll probably buy one of the Dyson V11, or maybe the Samsung Jet, when the time comes

dusky plank
#

yeah with the robot I actually just need the dyson for a staircase... I will have a look out on some deals for the dyson though

clear ferry
#

I bought a Dyson V6 on sale, currently lasted 3x any of the others I've ever owned, all from Electrolux to Philips

fiery sorrel
#

anyone had to swap the battery cell of a handheld yet ?

clear ferry
#

Yes

fiery sorrel
#

easy ?

clear ferry
#

Was a single mail to dyson

#

Delivered with ups next Day

#

And two screws

fiery sorrel
#

damn it's not glued in ?

clear ferry
#

Nope

fiery sorrel
#

i never looked at how i could open mine

clear ferry
#

Might have even been one screw

fiery sorrel
#

that's sweat, it' beeing pluged 24/7 kind of scare me, but it so confortable

clear ferry
#

Was a known issue apparently, happened after a year already

fiery sorrel
#

mine are 3Y old now, never runed out of battery but rarely use the turbo mode

clear ferry
#

I have turbo on always

#

But I only use it when I need to clean up spills mostly

#

Roborock cleans kitchen every night, and whenever me and the wife leaves the house it cleans the rest of the main floor

fiery sorrel
#

i find it warm up really fast in turbo

#

i sooo want to vacuum at night, but the irobot 980 is noisy as hell 😠
And the roborock is upstare

solid edge
#

long term opinion about the Dyson V6: Reduced suction from accumulation around the cyclone/cyclone returns is friggin impossible to clean out and requires stripping it down to its tiniest bits to get at.

#

It's also been struggling with the BMS cutting out at full load again, but I think that's a combination of an unwashably plugged filter and aging batteries

#

it's a competent vacuum for sure. My home is largely wood floors, so I picked up the parquet head and loved the massive runtime improvement it granted was fabulous, though it constantly clogs with pet hair

clear ferry
#

Haven't noticed anything yet, had it for 3 years so far, scooping up a lot of baking goods and my daughter's liver paste sandwiches 🤣 🤣

solid edge
#

I noticed that once it begins to accumulate, it just goes nuts

#

the more surface area there is for crap to settle on, the more settles on!

#

For most standard vacuuming, I ahve a Miele C2 which does a fabulous job. Not automated, of course.

#

and I picked up an Eufy 11 at a thrift store for $25. That things's a champ

#

#

if you are in europe i can send you the shop i found it in

keen pier
#

Thanks. I found one supplier near me, charging 2x normal price because of scarcity

fiery sorrel

Hi, New here... I'm a coder, but kind of still confused and haven't found a clear doc about how to install an integration that is on the website, but not in the gui. Do I download the git repo and put it where? My setup is is using the rasberry pi, and "Get Started" setup. It's working for my auto discovered devices that had the ability to install the integration over the GUI.

All my networking hardware here at home is either Cisco or Aruba

last cedar

I thought their access point was expensive, went with a tp-link and been monumentally happy

subtle pasture

Having Cisco switches end-to-end is nice... very nice...

last cedar
#

Looking at going to Aruba 1930 switches if I can tame the fan

subtle pasture
#

I had a tp-link access point... ditched it because it had some pretty massive functional/security issues with IPv6, and tp-link refused to patch my model

A 24 with poe and a 24 without, gives 6 10gb ports total

Their official solution was to buy a newer unit...

Aha, interesting. Still on ipv4 here

unifi does NOT give you full speed. it max be great with 300 wifi clients on a campus but at home i want the full speed for my 80 clients.

#

Have a hardware version 1 eap245

subtle pasture
#

That'd be the one I had... oh boy...

#

So, you won't notice anything wrong unless you enable IPv6 and have two VLANs going to the WAP

last cedar
#

Caps out at 1.4.0 firmware iirc

#

The newer ones are on 2 something, or were

#

Plan is to replace it with a 6e unit

subtle pasture
#

If you have a guest network, you're probably piping two VLANs to it, which is where the problems start

last cedar
#

In about 2028 when it is stable

#

I have 3 ssids using 2 different vlans iirc

#

No guest. So I should be running into issues

subtle pasture
#

Any IPv6 broadcast traffic will leak across VLANs, resulting in things like DHCP6 being completely broken (devices will get an IP and gateway for a network they're not supposed to be able to access)

last cedar
#

Oh wow

Yeah, pretty shit...

last cedar

Very happy you were around to chat about it

#

I think it is loosely 2 with some 3 features

subtle pasture
#

I usually use Cisco SG250 series switches if all I need is Layer 2

last cedar
#

I don't think I need 3. And can defo not afford real 3

#

I will google a bit :)

subtle pasture
#

Yeah, the SG250-26P is comparable to the Aruba 1930 on both price and specs

#

Same power budget, even

last cedar
#

Looked like it is 2 sfp+ vs 4 on thr Aruba?

#

Sg250x-24p ¿¿??

subtle pasture
#

Cisco does weird things with the SFP ports on these switches. They call them "dual personality ports" and they're shared with ethernet port 25 and 26

last cedar
#

Oh, fair enough

#

So it is 2 dedicated and 2 shared

subtle pasture
#

If you're planning to go aruba end-to-end, I can't knock that plan. We sell that at work pretty often

#

You can control your switches and WAPs all from a central console, running on the switch/wap cluster

last cedar
#

Realistically I don't need 10gb, but I will defo be pulling fiber from building to builsing when we buy, might as well do it right. Got to have 10gb in the firewood storage room for the earwigs and rodents

subtle pasture
#

This house is all wired with CAT6, ready for 10 gbps, but none of the hardware is cheap enough yet 😛

#

I'm wishing we'd done some fiber runs when we were pulling all that CAT6 cable...

last cedar
#

I know I don't want ubiquiti. I have a zyxel switch now and I don't have any complaints with it, I want as many ports as possible that are 10gb and they look to fit the bill. They are also easier on the wallet new than many other brands, in Sweden

subtle pasture
#

@dusky plank Nah, also cable certifications are weird... you can technically certify a specific length of CAT5e as 10gbps ready

last cedar
#

People have had 10gb running on 8 coathangers 😂

dusky plank
#

ethernet in general maxes out at 100m I believe? correct me again! do it!

deft pewter
#

Guys I have a service binded to use for only one ip on as many devices under that IP. Am I able to pay for VPN which will cover all connected devices under it below on ip?
@dull plaza Why do you need a VPN for that? If you can access your IP externally, just set up nginx or something to route incoming requests to the right service/device.

#

You could easily point several domains at the same IP and have nginx route them. i.e. aaa.lipown.com could resolve to the same IP address as bbb.lipown.com but nginx would make sure aaa goes to service A and bbb goes to service B.

subtle pasture
#

Yeah, that's just a reverse proxy server

#

HAProxy, NGinx, Apache, etc. can all perform that function

dull plaza
#

@deft pewter I have paid service which can run multiple times under one ip. I want to use it with my GF when she is on house of students and I am home. Nobody have good upload for rerouting so paid VPN would be good idea.

subtle pasture
#

I think there might be a bit of a language barrier here

#

I'm having trouble parsing exactly what it is you're trying to do

deft pewter
#

Many services inside your home network, one way in?

dull plaza
#

Nope

subtle pasture
#

Remote access to your home network?

dull plaza
#

I am on on external IP, my gf on another, my parents on another - I want mask them under one IP that will access the service

#

So we can use it simultaneusly

deft pewter
#

Oh. You want to 'fake' the IP so it all looks like it comes from one place?

dull plaza
#

Yep exactly

#

It is possible if I do the bridging, but I do not have such a upload

subtle pasture
#

Then yeah, you'd need to run a VPN server at one of those location, and tunnel the others through it

#

Standard branch office VPN configuration

dull plaza
#

this si what I cant do

deft pewter
#

But with poor upload bandwidth... 🤷‍♂️

dull plaza
#

cause of low upload

subtle pasture
#

You could use a VPS, that'll get around the bandwidth limitations 😛

#

It'll have whatever bandwidth the datacenter it's in can provide

What is VPS?

Virtual Private Server

dull plaza

subtle pasture
#

You'd run a VPN server of your own on the VPS

last cedar

subtle pasture

Most VPN service providers don't offer the feature you're after, they're more about protecting privacy

dull plaza
#

😦

#

I want both .- protect privacy and this

dusky plank
#

subtle pasture
#

You could try to find a VPN service provider that lets you explicitly set the exit node...

#

Then set all 3 clients to the same node

#

But in general, you can't guarantee multiple clients will get the same external IP address with something like PIA, Mulvad, Nord, etc.

#

Nord actually has some business/enterprise plans that might do what you need, but those'll be expensive

deft pewter

I sometimes forget that, as a software engineer, I know how to use Google.

clever mortar
#

You don't need to be a software engineer for that

#

I'd say that most folks that have a job that requires solving problems either learn that, or fail hard

dull chasm
#

but @clever mortar trail and error can make a average man better than a engineer ....i see it all the time

#

all i deal with is engineers and find out they will only certifie what they know other wise they scratch there heads

#

i hear does it meet specs or equiv ........damn a 1st term student can say that

clever mortar
#

Eh, it's about your willingness to explore, learn, and think

#

Also, there's a difference between what folks can do, and what they're allowed to do 😉

dull chasm
#

so that is a double edge sword that most use ....i cant learn because i cant approve

clever mortar
#

Or, from another angle, it doesn't matter what I know, because I'm only allowed to approve X

dull chasm
#

then when they can they only use astm standards that are proven

#

instead of using their training to expand .... they sit on proven stamped approved designs

clever mortar
#

Because, in the field, that's what you're able to do 😉

#

Now, if you're working elsewhere... that's different

dull chasm
#

well the engineers i work with are high level and still only do copy paste from standards

dull chasm
#

@clever mortar no they can do more ...they can actually do thier job title of engineer and engineer something

deft pewter

Except there are engineers out there doing pioneering work. They'll be at NASA/Tesla/etc.

#

The engineers you meet day to day... they gotta follow rules and regs.

Yes you are assigned a specific car when you rent a car, that is pretty normal in the... 9 countries I've rented in atleast

deft pewter

Ah. I always thought that was the norm... but each time we've rented in the States, we rented a certain class of car. Found the row of cars that matches, pick one, drive off.

#

Maybe it's only cos we did it at a large airport. No idea if it would be the same at a smaller rental place.

clear ferry

I even ask for non french cars when I rent in France

deft pewter

low harness

How does that even work? Are they keys left in the car?

static schooner

deft pewter

Yeah, keys in the car. Drive through a manned barrier where they scan the barcode in the front windscreen, drive away.

#

This was an airport parking lot, so plenty of security... and no way to drive out until they scan your details.

#

Basically if you've got a receipt for a 'premium sedan', you just pick something from the row marked 'premium sedans'. They don't care which one you drive away.

clear ferry

Here in Norway a lot of smaller rental companies let you unlock the car with NFC @low harness

I want to roadtrip to Austria and Switzerland though

dusky plank
#

It's 2 minutes from the airport to me

clear ferry
#

I should stop by @hearty depot and @tawny pebble too then

hollow glacier
#

Can’t you just get drunk and watch top gear?

orchid rose
#

Only if it's with clarkson and co

hollow glacier
#

Yeah..

young agate
#

@dusky plank Austria? Take your cars and come here and get a nice cool beer!

hollow glacier
#

Their new show has gotten better

hollow glacier
#

The grand tour

clear ferry
#

Clarkson is a proper cunt, just like me

dusky plank
#

where is here? @young agate
i want coordinates!

hollow glacier
#

I love his quote on why he’s not sexist “I watch lesbian pr0n”

clear ferry
#

Let's go to swartzwald and eat some ham @dusky plank

young agate
#

@dusky plank 52.03333° N , 8.53333° E

dusky plank
#

i want to have iberian ham 🐷 schwarzwälder is good but, meh

hearty depot
clear ferry
#

Iberico ham > all other ham

young agate
#

Serrano is the way to go

clear ferry
#

Damn kids with their Serrano bullshit

#

🤢

hearty depot
#

Ok. the topic is alcohol apperantly

clear ferry
#

HI CAPS LOCK

young agate
#

Okay then Gin

#

and Beer

dusky plank
#

@young agate hmmm thats a 6 hour ride for me 😄

hearty depot
#

da fuck yea

hearty depot
#

I actually never needed that lock.. like ever

clear ferry
#

Gin can be good, but I've been too shit drink on gin that I probably shy away

young agate
#

@dusky plank well.. 😄

orchid rose
#

Tanqueray omnom

young agate
static schooner
#

gin tastes like gnawing on a pine tree

clear ferry
#

That's why you mix it

young agate
#

I think I'm going to make a long drink 🤔

clear ferry
#

With fanta

#

🤣

young agate
#

Fanta? Tonic water is the way to go

dusky plank
#

I can't drink high percentage stuff 😔

clear ferry
#

To be fair, I've drunk a lot of gin fizz

#

That is the shit

deft pewter
#

Gin and fanta? wtf?

clear ferry
#

@dusky plank I started drinking 50+ at age 18 and beer at age 32 🤣

deft pewter
#

I can't stand gin neat, nor with tonic. I'll only have it in martinis or negronis.

orchid rose
#

Martinis man, classy af while getting you drunk

deft pewter
#

I even bought some olives. Now I just need those fancy ass metal cocktail sticks so I can go full-on pretentious.

dusky plank
#

well my body is a wreck since a accident at 17 so nothing else than beer for me... spent 3 weeks in intensive care

clear ferry
#

I drink a lot of mojitos if I do cocktails

young agate
#

I started at age 14 with beer

#

With 16 the hard stuff comes into play

#

At least in Germany

#

for most of the kids

clever mortar
#

Scrumpy was my real introduction

orchid rose
#

Mojitos are nice during that one summer day every year

#

We had snow today btw

dusky plank
#

yeah its funny.. alcohol from 16 and porn at 18, in america its the opposite

hearty depot
#

Best gin like ever

#

Sadly empty

young agate
#

What about wine? Is anybody here into it?

#

I personally hate red wine

dusky plank
#

I might be... in a few years

deft pewter
#

Mojitos are nice during that one summer day every year
One summer day? I had them most days of my trip when I was in Costa Rica. Never paid more than $1 either 😄

hearty depot
#

I'm a so called Jungsommelier
But not Yung anymore

deft pewter
#

Happy hour all day long.

dusky plank
#

Man bringe ihm den Spritzwein!

hearty depot
#

Nah it isnt bad, but I ll burn you on a scheiterhaufen 😛

clear ferry
#

yeah its funny.. alcohol from 16 and porn at 18, in america its the opposite
@dusky plank
You forgot the guns 🧛‍♂️

deft pewter
#

Guns from 12?

young agate
dusky plank
#

you anonymous alcoholics should try Krautinger - it's the most disgusting thing you ever tried and for sure will cure your sickness. plus: it's made in Tirol

deft pewter
#

Beet schnappes? 🤢

dusky plank
#

It's Schnaps, yes

young agate
#

pure vodka is the worst.

young agate
#

Sad but true

orchid rose
#

What's that?

hearty depot
#

I have to translate this for the non german speakers
(actually I hope someone else does. Luca is typing a lot, so I might be good)

young agate
#

I'm fascinated by the little cultural differences. In America it's not allowed to say "dick" on tv. In Germany it's forbidden to go to the supermarket with a fully automatic gun

#

You are 😄

deft pewter
#

Google Translate ftw.

clear ferry
#

Mmmm I just remember from my childhood

#

Tutti frutti

#

On RTL

young agate
#

Where are you all from?

#

Well I already sent my coordinates: Bielefeld, Germany

subtle pasture
hearty depot
#

you all keep me from my postgres ansible role 😿
Uh a ikea deathstar lamp

young agate
#

Not my style but its quite nice. The table. Not your toes.

deft pewter
#

You'd think he'd at least paint his nails before sending us foot pics.

dusky plank
#

that table is amazeballs
and did you shrink atx? those trousers look way too long

clear ferry
#

Atleast I cut my toenails today @deft pewter

deft pewter
#

First time this year?

clear ferry
#

@dusky plank I'm just your standard Norwegian 220cm tall

#

@deft pewter according to the wife yes, according to me no

dusky plank
#

what's your special ability? I can lick my elbow!

clear ferry
#

I can fix anything

clever mortar
#

Is that after you break it though?

young agate
#

I can break anything

subtle pasture
#

220cm? 🤨

young agate
#

and fix some things

subtle pasture
#

That's over 7 feet tall

hearty depot
#

I'm almost always in a good mood

orchid rose
#

Wide leapo

subtle pasture
#

Hah!

dusky plank
young agate
#

My best friends are servers. Linux servers. Not windows. I'm a server-os racist.

tidal bronze
#

Sucking toes on a Sunday. Yep, progress!

subtle pasture
#

@young agate challenge yourself to live Linux-free. Switch everything to BSD and VxWorks

hearty depot
#

here is still the question of the distribution

dusky plank
#

Gentoo intensifies /s

young agate
#

Arch for Desktop, CoreOS for containerized applications, Ubuntu server for non-docker

#

Linux from Stratch if you wanna have some fun

dusky plank
#

Ubuntu 🤢

subtle pasture
#

That's one of the reasons I like BSD... It's monolithic, no need for a billion distros

clever mortar
#

Just ... half a dozen or two

young agate
#

@dusky plank my home assistant lives in a container on ubuntu server 🤨

subtle pasture
#

@clever mortar Not really... Pre-installing packages on FreeBSD and releasing it under a different name isn't the same thing as building your own Linux distro

dull chasm
#

@clever mortar @clear ferry but yall dont have proper engines like my F150

clever mortar
#

Why would I want some horribly inefficient thing though...

dull chasm
#

400bhp thats why

clever mortar
#

Pffft

orchid rose
#

Makes big noise

dull chasm
#

wimps left on side of road

subtle pasture
#

How much horsepower per cubic inch?

clever mortar
#

If I need power, I'd go electric

#

If I need noise, I've got a stereo...

tidal bronze
#

Ouch

young agate
#

Especially if you need torque

dull chasm
#

@subtle pasture 302 ci

young agate
#

I love driving my girlfriends electric car

#

Damn it's so quick. Any quiet.

dusky plank
clever mortar
#

Yup, and the choices for electric are improving significantly all the time

dull chasm
#

yall would not make proper americans .....

young agate
#

That's why I'm a german.

clever mortar
#

I'm strangely good with that...

#

No need to lower our standards 😛

young agate
#

Electric motorcycles are going to be great

dull chasm
#

@young agate been there conqured and left 🤣

subtle pasture
#

My engine: 1.7 hp/ci
That beast: 1.3 hp/ci

#

Yeah, that F150 isn't very efficient...

dull chasm
#

but will rock your world

clever mortar
#

So will a tornado

#

Or a brick of C4

trail crag
#

I actually think it's going to be weird when electric is more common.

dull chasm
#

i hope i am dead

trail crag
#

Right now, it's fun to take off in front of everyone at the light

#

but when everyone is doing it...

clever mortar
#

Now 300 mile and above ranges are possible with electric, the reasons I considered it a non-starter are gone

dusky plank
#

the roadster will be interesting

subtle pasture
#

@trail crag I already enjoy doing that in a gas powered car. Only having a curb weight of 2600 lbs is fun

trail crag
#

yeah but you don't do it like a ninja 🥷

deft pewter
#

Have you ever witnessed her do it?

#

No? Ninja!

subtle pasture
#

Lol

#

I mean, you do launch this thing at 7000 RPM, so yeah... There's noise

trail crag
#

more like a screaming viking

tidal bronze
#

@dull chasm done any off reading yet ?

subtle pasture
#

I absolutely wouldn't mind an electric version of this car, but I don't think it'd feel the same with all the battery weight

dusky plank
#

right in the feels

dull chasm
#

@subtle pasture i dont think a hot date would quite the same in a electric car vs a cammed out v8 loping at redlight .....i think the girl would be much more excited in the gas engine

#

a mean vibrations and all ....

subtle pasture
#

Fuck. The man has a point...

deft pewter
#

Someone's going to have to counter that by inventing portable tools capable of creating localised vibrations.

subtle pasture
#

Running leather seats, I hope? 😂

dull chasm
#

well i have had the girl for 20 years but yes

#

she refuses to drive when raining .....last time she spun around at redlight

dusky plank
#

Someone's going to have to counter that by inventing portable tools capable of creating localised vibrations.
@deft pewter hmmm lets call it better-woman-imporession-device

subtle pasture
#

@deft pewter install buttkickers under the seats 👀

#

Feel the bass, lol

dull chasm
#

cant fake the real thing

green verge
#

The real thing being the all natural man meat I'm guessing

subtle pasture
#

We're talking about engine rumble...

green verge
#

Yes I'm aware... But who actually thinks girls are whimsically whisked off their feet by a loud crappy car

#

Satire my friend

deft pewter
#

Some guys wouldn't think it if it didn't work on some girls.

subtle pasture
#

Slightly funny: the stereo in my car is used in a number of different Toyota vehicles, including the Prius. If you get into its service menue, you can enable some of the Prius-centric features... Like playing fake engine sounds over the stereo when revving

deft pewter
#

We're not all the same.

dull chasm
#

1st we are not talking crappy .....my truck is very very nice and engine alone is 8k

subtle pasture
#

That's actually a thing the stereo does in a Prius, lol

green verge
#

I get some might enjoy it. Sexually enjoy it? Far less. The way it's spoken about, it's generalizing a rare occurrence

#

I dunno man, helped a friend tune his Supra to like 20lbs of boost. Every girl has only ever been afraid

dull chasm
#

well your not in the right part of the world my friend

subtle pasture
#

I'm sorry your vibrator only gets 12 miles to the gallon...

clear ferry
#

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

dull chasm
#

^^^^^ pretty much

#

really about 8 is more like it

subtle pasture
#

Oof

dull chasm
#

stock is 400bhp ....current is 520 bhp lol

dusky plank
#

can we just talk about french and italian cars? this is too much HP for me and my fiat multipla

clever mortar
#

I'd have to go and get the handbook to work out what the HP of my car is... it's never mattered anyway 😉

green verge
#

520 HP on an F150 is pretty Jukes tho

dusky plank
#

it matters in the alps - though you'll crap out with >200 so 🤷‍♂️

clever mortar
#

Car gets from A to B while carrying everything it needs to, fast enough when it needs to be fast, and without using a lot of fuel 😛

dull chasm
#

how it gets there is important ....

clever mortar
#

In one piece, in style

green verge
#

Personally, if I want to go fast for fun, I'd pull out the motorcycle

#

Otherwise it's all electric all day baby

clear ferry
#

Even my German sled gave me 34mpg

clever mortar
#

If I want to go fast for fun, I'll find twisty roads. Top speed is irrelevant, it's the ability to read the conditions, and the road, and accelerate/decelerate appropriately that's fun

dusky plank
clever mortar
#

Any idiot can do 100 MPH+ in a straight line, that's no fun

dusky plank
#

gets you all the ladies this fiat

clear ferry
#

Come to northern Norway and let me show you how to drive 60kph sideways on ice

#

🤣

subtle pasture
#

@clever mortar that's honestly why I like my GT86 so much

#

It's zippy and handles like a go-kart

#

"whee! corners! :D"

clever mortar
#

For me, that's where the fun is - and electric can do that as well as, if not better than, fossil fuel

#

Of course, most of my driving is distance on the motorway, where a nice smooth ride matters more 🤷

dusky plank
#

Come to northern Norway and let me show you how to drive 60kph sideways on ice
@clear ferry deal!

green verge
#

My gym teacher in Highschool slayed mad poon and drove a Corolla. Thought big trucks = small cock

#

Different strokes

subtle pasture
#

Short strokes, sounds like..

#

I honestly can't help myself from thinking that every time I see an overly-lifted pickup truck, where the driver is barreling around like an asshole

#

"Such a shame about his dick..."

green verge
#

Making up for something, that's just a fact of nature

fiery sorrel
#

i like big car as in high car. the higer i sit the more confortable it feel to me. The best road trip i had ever done was in a actual truck XD
That aside, the shorter the beter ... you still have to park that thing
