Just tried NodeRed for first time, man I like it. My TCP Relay Controller configuration worked first go with no issues. Even has PLC integrations for Siemens S7, this is my new fav thing.

I agree. The problem is this distributed IO relay controller relies on direct TCP socket communication and currently HASS TCP Component does not have TCP mechanisms beyond requesting a value at set interval.

The device will post messages randomly thus I would need to write some code to handle this or use NodeRED

Greater TL;DR - Ubiquiti tried to use copyright against Cambium on GPL code and the code was requested in discovery to see if its GPL or not. They are refusing and delaying. They basically stole open source code and privatized it then used it against another company to maintain and gain marketshare. Now its biting them in the ass

My issue is when AVR units are in sync keeping standalone CC units in sync with them because of this main zone HDMI delay. But if I am running only AVR units throughout the house no sync issues at all.

I feel dumb, but I spent all this time setting up mycroft, home assistant, kvm/qemu to run it, zeroteir-one to tie a bunch of stuff together, and what can it do? Mycroft will tell me when my phone battery is low so I remmeber to plug it in.

I just opened up one of my 4TB drives that had stopped responding in Freenas, seems like the heads had not gone back to park for some reason, spun the heads backwards and pushed the heads back in places appears to be no damage to heads, so putting it back into freenas to see if it recognises it

collet there are diff types and sizes but generally if the bit is not necked down to 1/2" the drill will not be able to handle it anyway
