php improved a lot after version 5. version 4 was crap, but php 5 can teach a lot about programming so Im all for it

rare condor

I don't understand if it means I need "(i) and ( (ii) or (iii) )" OR "(i) or (ii) or (iii)"

I would say or

clear ferry
#

I would say 1 and 2 or 3

#

by that writing

hushed basalt
#

The semicolons break the statement

rare condor

But then this would not make sense: (A) from a source located outside Zone 0; (B) at a nominal voltage not exceeding 12 V a.c. or 30 V ripple-free d.c.; and (C) as an SELV or a PELV system, in accordance with Clause 7.5

hushed basalt
#

i ;
ii ;
or iii

rare condor
#

but then why use or twice here: (i) socket-outlets having rated currents not exceeding 63 A; or (ii) hand-held Class I equipment; or (iii) portable equipment intended for manual movement during use.

hushed basalt
#

That's A & (B1 or B2) & C

#

This is basically programming lol

clear ferry

clear ferry

I really don't like it, I prefer explicitly using 'and' and 'or' after every clause , avoids confusion (even if its just me ๐Ÿ˜› )

hushed basalt
#

I read the housing of the GPO with a voltmeter too. I can't remember what I got but it was over 100v

#

I've read those same sections as you Haxxa

rare condor
#

@hushed basalt I am still not convinced of use of "or", as its not consistent, see what I mean:

(i) socket-outlets having rated currents not exceeding 63 A; or (ii) hand-held Class I equipment; or (iii) portable equipment intended for manual movement during use

In this context its used after each statement which is obvious.

vs.

Zone 3 Socket-outlets installed in Zone 3 shall beโ€” (i) protected by an RCD with a fixed rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA; (ii) supplied individually as a separated circuit, in accordance with Clause 7.4; or (iii) supplied as an SELV or a PELV system, in accordance with Clause 7.5.

In this context its only used at the final statement, so in my mind I read it like: shall be i and (ii or iii). In programming, that's how it would literally be interpreted.

#

But are you suggesting in both contexts its (i) or (ii) or (iii)

hushed basalt
#

I remember having the same problem with that section. It's vague as fuck and frankly impossible to know

last dirge
#

calm crow
#

last dirge
#

@tidal bronze the stuff by the pavers is just sand. It's slowly gaining root there

#

it's still destroyed from last year when I had the tree removed

tidal bronze
#

You mean by the OSD text?

last dirge
#

nah

#

down near the sidewalk near the bushes

#

the stuff by the OSD text in that first image is because of the damn moles

#

I've caught and killed 4

tidal bronze
#

lol. Moles winning ATM?

last dirge
#

I haven't seen any new tunnels in a few days but it's been raining

dull chasm
#

moles have rights

clear ferry
#

Guessing this works as good on moles as on rats

tidal bronze
#

I gave up on wild rabbits and squirrels the size of a smart car.

calm crow
#

Moles Matter

clear ferry
#

Fill with this, they get pissed and move out

last dirge
#

looks like quail eggs

#

if the moles stayed only in the flower beds, I'd have zero problems with them

#

but they run their tunnels in my yard and when it rains I've got a brand new 2" drainage channel that's POURING water everywhere

hushed basalt
#

Free aeration

tidal bronze
#

lol

last dirge
#

that doesn't work when they kill the roots

dull chasm
#

and proper drainage

hushed basalt
#

Just train them to be storm water conscious

#

And dig deeper

last dirge
#

they've got one tunnel they made that runs along the entire side of my house right up next to the basement wall

dull chasm
#

i just think he is being cruel

last dirge
#

that's starting to be a real problem with the rain

dull chasm
#

you invaded there home ...they where there first

last dirge
#

they were not

#

this is the first year we've had moles

hushed basalt
#

Maybe they were on vacation

#

You're the squatter

clear ferry
#

Say no to mole

dull chasm
#

neighborhood forced them to relocate ... killing there envoiroment

rare condor
#

I don't think I have seen a mole before

last dirge
#

I've got a pretty huge carpenter bee population here recently

tidal bronze
#

@last dirge how do you catch them?

last dirge
#

I'd be killing them like crazy but they're staying out of my deck for the most part

#

and they're pollinating my garden

#

@tidal bronze scissor traps

dull chasm
#

^^^ one ruthless human invader

last dirge
#

there's one in that second picture

tidal bronze
#

Yep saw that.

last dirge
#

I tried in-tunnel traps from trapline but I had zero success with that

#

rare condor
#

Are you an Elon Fan?

last dirge
#

#

eh, I'm a Tesla fan

#

worn jasper
#

i've said once this is paid off (real soon!) i'd like to look into a tesla or something thats hybrid at least because i'm tired of the $50/wk gas bill for traveling to ffrom work haha

#

let the camaro be a fun car only again, heck i live where it snows a lot and have to drive it year round haha

last dirge
#

it costs like $8 to "fill up" my car

#

from 0% range to 100% range

worn jasper
#

LOL geez, heck when the gas prices bottomed out last month whenever that was i was so excited cause i was able to actually run premium in it for once and still cost me under 20 to fill LOL

calm crow
#

last dirge
#

worn jasper
#

last dirge
#

@calm crow consulting can be good, can be a pain in the ass

#

not sure of all of the legal/tax differences between here and there

calm crow
#

yeah, i think its better there than here

#

but still it pays well

#

just i imagine it to be a lot more stressful

last dirge
#

eh

#

I guess like anything it depends on what you're doing and where you're working

clear ferry
#

Public transport to work ๐Ÿคข

tidal bronze
clear ferry
#

@worn jasper let me tell you about gas prices outside the US and Saudi Arabia

worn jasper
#

dull chasm
#

@tidal bronze rabbits are cool ....and your friend

clear ferry
#

And tasty

#

Are you the new @scenic radish @unreal orbit ? peepoLaptopHappy

dull chasm
#

#

i love watching them play

unreal orbit
#

I also hunt, I just don't like the taste of rabbit. Plus yes, they are adorable

dull chasm
#

rabbit isnt my first choice but in a stew it is good

unreal orbit
#

We made rabbit stew for a LotR marathon party last year. The stench from cleaning/butchering the rabbit was overpowering. The flavor ended up being surprisingly mild, but not worth the effort

dull chasm
#

but on my property they dont hurt much because shit i spend enough to feed them .... LOL

#

i never found cleaning a rabbit to be bad ....but a dang mink ....screw that ....that gland will blow you away
