so I need to be really careful as there is now back pressure which may damage the cooler
To explain why this happens is simple the interrupt service routine basically nullifies new inputs after recieving a button press but the EMI from the bathroom fan is enough to cause a registerable 50ns or so pulse which causes the power on ISR to trigger.
It was poorly designed it should have required the button to be held for at least 200ms

you can access an ipv6 device from anywhere on the internet
