@clever mortar the main issue for me is im living in a house where its concrete outer walls, and can passivly read BT temperature things around 20m away. I just need a bit more boost, so I was hoping in theory an external antenna would make the listsning capability better. Two way is dependent on the client, but listening is the goal here

so im still planning to swap out my myq garage opener with a shelly BUT I found out my issue with it randomly opening the garage door. I had a Wyze cam stuck to the garage door opener shell cause it's metal and for whatever reason the wyze cam throws off so much interference that it would not only randomly trigger the myq thing but it also effected using the cars built in remote garage door open randomly lol

So I just configured recorder to store data for 365 days... but as I can see now (after about 30 days) I think I will not get happy with this solution. As it grows much faster than e.g PTRG graphs etc.
So... is there a nice way/solution to get long-term graphs for some of my entities?

I read about the amazon household but I don't want to use that.
Can you please tell me any other project, also using raspberry or what else, that of course can connect to HA for TTS and simply connects to our wifi so any smartphone or anything (spotify client included) can play music on them?

Mentioned here that I managed to burn out a TP-Link Powerline unit two weeks ago. Just managed to burn out one of their smart switches using the same method... Prolonged high bandwidth!
Really need to get a few better switches for small jobs like this!

My core switch is a mikrotik, and as long as you stay away from the Layer 3 functionality, it's line speed. Also has 24 ports of PoE which is handy for Wifi and Cameras.
