Where I find it handy is with maintaining stuff at my parents. I for all intents and purposes have a wireguard mesh, so once I'm the VPN I have access to both my place and my parents. Makes support a lot easier when I can just ssh to the desktop there or log straight into the Unifi controller to debug an issue.

what i'm doing for myself is trying to make a motivation tool to drive me to workout so I can buy my tech toys;

A formula would take the count of the days; and multiply it by a value ($5 in my case). And that would be my allowance to purchase more toys.

@plain raptor you might want to think of using some sort of voice commands - alexa integration rather than using google sheets. Hard to integrate google sheets with Home Assistant. You could try asking the question in #general-archived as it is nothing to do with home assistant yet - in the sense that you don't have any working code or running into issues

Although I think you are going about the wrong way on calculating the wine rack dimensions. Example, if you are planning to house 32 bottles, it's not really needed or warranted to drink 32 bottles, just to get dimensional data.....
