I think the way Amazon works they charg the seller a flat fee per item depending on it's weight/volume
So if they add extra packaging it just means Amazon loses out
And if the drive is faulty then the seller pays the return processing fee and loses the product

I've had Windows giving me massive memory leak recently and it just doesn't show anywhere. With some searching I found that handles number in task manager details is a good indication. First it was the audio service that was using gigabytes worth of memory and now it's explorer.exe itself. I closed it earlier to free 9GB of memory, lol
