It’s two colors. Just black and white. Then the gray is rasterized.
Personally - school had a tiny 1st gen reprap, then university had some bigger ones, then work had even more, and I got jealous and got even more myself
I'd suggest first determining a budget. How much do you want to commit to the hobby to get started? $100-$300, $500-$750, $1000+ Each budget range will give you more capabilities. You don't have to go all out and buy the most expensive printer out there (though there's nothing wrong with that if you can afford it.) You can always get a better, more expensive printer later. And then, you'd have two printers...
That one was free because there’s a bambulab build plate in the core one…
