#Using SER to make my own script
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
@wide cobalt YOOOOO
this is probably because you didn't set the permissions for your role in the config
ser has different config than labapi perms?
the SER config files have nothing in them?
nope
they use the same perms
can you run your script through the server console?
if not then the plugin didn't load
i see
ill try now
@wide cobalt
it is working
but it cant find the script as well for some reason
also it says my script doesnt exist in the folder but it's rigfht there?
did you follow the tutorial?
as to how to use SER?
Ill do it once im on tmr
oh yeah i have step by step
whats the perms requirement in premission.yml?
because owner has .*
but it still wont let me
all the other labapi plugins are working
did you generate the example scripts?
ye
kk
can you run them?
ill add that perm in rn hold on
from server console
oh running scripts work
im working on my own
its just I cant do it in game
because i apparently dont have perms
when i do serrun DHHE on server console it works
permission_groups:
inherited_groups: []
permissions: []
owner:
inherited_groups: []
permissions:
- .*
- ser.*
that's whats in my permissions folder
@agile patio
why would this condition not work?
the permissions check seems wonky
do i need to edit SER permission checks?
no no
that is only a SER code issue then
although you're the first one to have issues with it
horray ðŸ˜
@arctic kelp what plugins are you also using?
I'll check how their permissions are handled
autoevents
exiled loader as well but im guessing that doesnt count hahqa
isn't that an exiled plugin?
nope
well there may be an exiled but I use the LABapi one
made by marci
@ MedveMarci
oh I see the issue
whats the issue?
I'm using a player to check the permissions
which should also work
but I should check the senders permissions
I'll fix it today
kk
because labapi is stupid?
LABapi banter is crazy
yeah some things are just worse than exiled
haha
says unknown?
youre not on the SER discord server then
ill join
k
its fixed!
thank you!
