Something that I did, to kinda get into painting, is make one lineless, but colored drawing, save and start experiementing with the brushes, until you find one that you like.

It took me like 5 days.

But I am happy with the result.

I never used Krita, so I can't tell you what brushes you could use, to make a nice painting, sorry.
