You need a basic understanding of colour theory to even try to become a concept artist, you also need the proper tools to be able to draw, you need a canvas size of atleast 3000 pixels, you need to practice every single day, Krita is a free program and got me very far

For me, with my tablet and Krita, it took me 4 years to get here, but i did do many courses and lessons. Depending on how fast you learn and how much you want to learn, you may be faster, with or without the courses
