So this isn't such a huge deal for me, since I don't tend to race in cockpit mode, but I've noticed, that when you get cracks in the windscreen, they don't seem to appear to show from inside the car, and are only visable from the exterior. Is this something that's known and planned to be changed any time in the near future?

As long as it was an option we could turn off it would be cool. I race only in cockpit view, I think there is already enough to contend with from that view point. Especially if you are competitive in any way :p
